The Brillion Nature Center building is open to the public

Brillion Nature Center’s trails are open for hiking, snowshoeing and X-country skiing every day from dawn until dusk. Parking is free of charge. Snowshoes and field packs are available for rent in the Nature Center building during open hours.

  • Animal mounts including birds, fish and mammals

  • Hands-on exhibits

  • Live native reptiles, amphibians and fish

  • Book Nook with adult and children’s books

  • Accessible restroom facilities w/changing tables available during building hours.

  • Large classroom/meeting space available for rentals

Trail Features

    • Nearly 7 miles of hiking/snowshoe trails through prairie, marsh and woodland habitats

    • Picnic area with wheelchair accessible tables

    • DNR pit facilities are open year round during trail hours.

    • Jason’s Pond

    • Marsh overlook with view of osprey nesting platform

    • Bluebird trail with 17 nesting boxes

    • Maple sugarbush - active in February and March
