Who are the VolunTeens?

  • Students 11-18 years old

  • People intersted in learning new skills and working outdoors

  • Volunteers that work 2 hours/week during the summer at Brillion Nature Center

Why be a VolunTeen?

  • To have fun learning something new

  • To experience authentic work in natural resources

  • To give back to the community

  • To gain a reference for job or college applications

How to Get Started

  • Fill out and return a VolunTeen Application Form.

  • Attend the VolunTeen Orientation (See calendar for date.)

  • Be available 2 hours each week for 9 weeks (late June - August).

  • Work schedule will be decided by group consensus at Orientation.

  • Be prepared to work outdoors in all conditions.
